A record that is of course indispensable for those who have already invested the Reutoff universe...
For the "non-initiated", an occasion that should not be missed to discover a Russian industrial
formation of great talent... But in all cases, you should not delay as it is a limited edition of
500 copies (200 brown and 300 black) that will soon be difficult to find...

The record opens with 'Oranus', a long sonic passage where prevails a ritual atmosphere enriched by
Russian language samples distilled wittingly and parsimoniously... before leaving place to track with a
more sustained rhythm 'Urahn', where the electronic sonorities are more present without occulting the
ritual aspect through a chorus of male voices present in the background during the whole the track.
The cinematographic sound excerpts that prevail at the end of the track turn out to be in perfect
harmony with the ritual atmosphere that emanates from the first act of this 10"...
The first seconds of the second side are declined on a rhythm that is always ritual but more ambient.
It is customary for Reutoff's to never lead their listeners where they expect and 'Strafe' does not
depart from their way of doing... The rhythm accelerates progressively, backed by heavy percussions and
a more industrial sound, more epic and hypnotic at certain moments to gain in intensity and literally
transport the listener...
This production admirably closes on a last track 'Epitaph' that seems to be darker... perhaps closer
to the atmospheres of "Das Absterben", which personally does not displease me...
